Corporate Profile

CamGaN was formed in 2010 to commercialise ground-breaking research in the field of gallium nitride based light-emitting diodes (LEDs) at the University of Cambridge. Led by the world-renowned Professor Sir Colin Humphreys, the Cambridge Centre for Gallium Nitride has devoted over 10 years and more than $16m in funding to basic and applied research on the key light-emitting semiconductor gallium nitride (GaN).

With its first collaboration with a key commercial player underway, CamGaN is moving swiftly towards rollout of its game-changing solutions.
